North Port has given us a permit for 200 runners ( #SPE-20-149 ), under the Governor guidelines to avoid socializing in groups of more than 250 people, we are going to have Corals times with a min of 60ish runners in each 30 min time frame!
Coral Times are as follows:
FIRST START TIMES are anytime between 7:30 AM & 7:59 AM
SECOND START TIME is anytime between 8:00 AM & 8:29 AM
THIRD START TIME is anytime between 8:30 AM & 8:59 AM
WHEN YOU ARE READY TO RUN PLEASE PROCEED TO THE START CORAL STAY 6FT BEHIND THE PERSON IN FRONT OF YOU. KEEP YOUR DISTANCE!!

Start by running out of the American legion parking lot turn left on Taneytown St, left on Coldspring Lane, left on Reisterstown Rd, left on Estates Dr, left on Pimlico St, right on Coldspring Lane, right on Taneytown then back to the American Legion parking lot to finish. 3.1 miles https://routes.rungoapp.com/route/Ho7F4VDSEJ
1. Rolling start: Runner will have a predetermined time to pick up their bib/chip.
Every 60 sets of runners start over a 30 min period. Giving a few seconds between runners standing 6 ft apart &
Wear Masks when standing around others that are not 6 ft apart.
2. During the event: Runners would be spread out because of the start times.
Runners will be told to announce themselves from a long distance away before they pass another runner.
3. There will not be any aid stations, runners will be encouraged to carry their own sustenance.
4. Post-event: Runners are encouraged to wear Masks when not running!
Any food/water will be prepackaged.
If you are a winner you will be notified and your award will be mailed. Winners will be announced on Runsignup.
5. The American Legion is not a public space, strict guidelines will be in place to allow to socially distance 50 people.
If people do hang around we encourage all to place a face mask on & just stay 6ft apart if you are going to stay.
You will be asked to leave if you have already finished your event and we are over our 50 person limit.
PLEASE Help us stay legal and to have another event.
NO REFUNDS
The Entry fees are not refundable under any circumstance, race registrations are not transferable to other participants, future years races are not allowed. Once you choose your division there is no switching.
The American Legion Post 254 reserves the right to modify or cancel the event for safety concerns, or natural disaster. In such cases, there will be no refunds of race entry fees. Each athlete must accept any such risk of their entry fee paid. There is no complimentary race entry to future events. Entry fees collected are used in helping Veterans. We will make every effort to produce a fair and safe event for all participants. Any decision we make that impacts the race dates or potential cancellation is carefully considered and based on the safety of the overall event, and manageability. Thank You American Legion Post 254
